Queensland Country’s commitment to community initiatives continues with today’s opening of their Queensland Country Good for Good Community Grant applications, which will see over $120,000 awarded to not-for-profit community groups across the state.
So far our partnership with Ronald McDonald House has injected $20,001 in to the Queensland Chapters. Your contributions will help this grow. This partnership supports children like Rani, aged 17, who spent 105 nights at Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia after suffering a stroke.
Michael is half way through his second year as an open bull rider and has competed in multiple circuits across the country including the Australian Professional Rodeo Association (APRA). This weekend he will compete for the first time in the Mount Isa Rodeo, of which Queensland Country are a proud Major Sponsor.
At ECU’s AGM held on Friday night (2nd December) members approved the recommendation of the Board to merge with the Queensland Country Credit Union and form a combined credit union with assets of over $1.7B, 29 branches, four agencies and 70,000 members.
