Given the recent heavy rain and flooding across many areas of North Queensland, we recognise that some of our Members may be facing difficult circumstances. Many of our team members also live and work in the same communities affected, so we truly understand the challenges you’re going through.
While we hope you and family are safe and unaffected, we want to assure those who have been impacted that we’re here to help!
We understand affected Members will have their own individual circumstances. To support those impacted, we are offering a range of financial relief options as part of a support package designed to help ease the burden.
Support package
- Deferment of repayments on loans for up to three months;
- Placing the loan on an interest-only basis for a period of time;
- Restructuring your loan to reduce your scheduled repayments;
- No establishment fee on new personal loan applications lodged before 30 April 2025;
- No break costs for Members with a fixed rate loan who use an insurance payment to pay out their loan; and
- Waiver of the usual interest rate for early withdrawals from term deposits prior to maturity.
The resilience and determination of regional Queenslanders continues to inspire us, and we are proud to stand by our Members, just as we always have.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us on 1800 075 078 to discuss your circumstances and find out more about the support that might be available to you.
