School holidays are the best, but can be expensive for families.
Time spent doing things like hanging out with friends, heading to Magnetic Island to go snorkelling, tubing or just to explore the walking trails or going on a family holiday can come with a price that parents are likely to fund.
So, how do you teach kids good savings habits and get them involved in planning for the holidays? Our mascot Crackles has some good news. There's no time like the present to start planning how the kids are going to avoid boredom and help fund their activities.
You can do this by getting the kids to put put away a small amount of their pocket money or getting them to do extra jobs for spare change. This idea could be your way to an exciting school holiday plan with less financial stress.
