Before you travel overseas, you'll need to make some adjustments to the way you receive secure codes by downloading the Symantec VIP Access App.

Note that transfers and online banking transactions can only be completed in Internet Banking while travelling overseas, not our mobile app.

How to register your VIP token

Symantec VIP Access App icon1. Download the Symantec VIP Access App from the Apple App Store or Google Play store.

2. Log into Internet Banking through our webpage at https://ib.queenslandcountry.bank (not our Mobile App).

3. Select the Settings button.

4. Select Register Token.

5. Enter your Credential ID in step 1. Your credential ID is the number above the circle in your VIP Access app.

6. Enter the Security code in step 3. The security code is the number in the middle of the circle that changes every 30 seconds.

7. Wait 30 seconds and enter a new Security code in step 5.

8. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.

9. Click Register.

What if I've already left the country?

If you have already left the country, please download the Symantec VIP Access and then call the Contact Centre on +61 7 4412 3526 to be given a code to register this token to your Internet Banking.

When you return to Australia

Going forward, whenever your Internet Banking requests a code, input a VIP Access security code, replacing the SMS Code. Once you return to Australia, contact us to change your authentication method back to SMS if you prefer.
